Description

A tour of the city of Blomberg will take visitors past the castle, erected in the 12th century. Striding through the stony castle´s gate, the visitor is ensnared at once, embraced by a bygone world and ancient walls transpiring history.

Since 30 years, the Burghotel Blomberg located between Teutoburger forest and the river Weser is a synonym for first class hospitality embroidered in medieval ambiance. In this place, pristine traditions and the comfort of modern age are no contradictions, but rather blossoming in a stylish harmony.

Our various functional rooms provide amenities and ambience for any kind of event. One is really spoilt for choice between the vaulted cellar, the hall of mirrors or the French hall in Renaissance style or, not to forget, a romantic candle-light dinner in our restaurant with open fireside.

Where once resided knights and counts and the damsel of the castle awaited her adored one to return, staying here nowadays conveys pleasant fairy-tale reminiscences. Today, each boudoir hold it's proper name and every comfort is harboured there, not only in the main castle, but also in the outer bailey. 42 double and 6 single rooms as well as 5 exquisitely well appointed theme suites feature any luxury it takes to foster ones soul at highest class level.
