Haus Martens is situated in the centre of List, only two tram stops from the main railway station. Surrounded by beautiful old art nouveau and classical buildings, the house is embedded in a nice mix of a central location and suburban flair. Only five minutes by foot, the pedestrian zone "Lister Meile" offers all you may desire from a shopping mall. The urban forest "Eilenriede" with up to 20 kms of bicycle and jogging paths is even closer. Within about 500 meters there are several restaurants, bars, pubs and bistros.
The hotel was founded in 1948 and has been run as a family business since then. In 2006, the hotel changed to a new ownership and is still a family business.
Our art nouveau mansion offers 35 rooms with a special ambience, thanks to high rooms and large windows. Up to date services and interior fittings offer comfort. The rooms, some of which have their own balcony and a bathtub, are equipped with shower/WC, telephone, cable TV, desk, mini bar and fan. For the beautiful moments in life, we also have a whirlpool suite.
