The Johanniterhaus Kloster Wennigsen is a hotel specialized in hosting meetings and seminars located at the Deister, near Hannover. The rooms and facilities are best suited for meeting groups of 5 – 55 people.

Besides professional meeting facilities the Johanniterhaus Kloster Wennigsen offers comfortable hotel rooms and is serving meals made of seasonal products from local producers.

The Johanniterhaus is located only 15 km southwest of Hannover and is easily accessible by car via the A2 and A7. Via the trains no. 1 and 2, Wennigsen is accessible by public transport from Hannover main station in only 25 minutes.

Directions

Arrival by plane

From Hannover airport you take the S-Bahn „S5“ (direction to Hameln) to hannover main station. The trip takes approx. 20 minutes. There you switch trains to „S1“ or „S2“ with the direction „Haste”. Normally both  trains depart from the same platform. The travel time from Hannover main station to “Wennigsen (Deister)” takes approx. 25 minutes. When you arrived in Wennigsen, you cross the rails at the marked railroad crossing to the side where the former station building is located. You cross the street and walk down “Bahnhofstraße”. You follow the road until the end, cross „Neustadtstraße“ and go down „Klosteramthof“. From here you are just metres away from Johanniterhaus Kloster Wennigsen, you can already see our main building. The entrance is located on the left hand side of the building, facing the church.
