The 11th GOP children's Christmas musical "ANOUK" is based on the well-known books by Hendrikje Balsmeyer and Peter Maffay and takes audiences young and old on adventurous journeys into Anouk's magical world.
Anouk is a lovely and helpful girl, but there is one thing she can't stand: going to sleep! Her parents are all the more surprised when Anouk suddenly goes to bed at night full of joy. Because they don't know that every night a magical door opens for Anouk that leads them into a world full of fantasy and adventure.
In this magical world, Anouk experiences exciting adventures, accompanies pirates in search of treasure, overcomes challenges in the jungle and meets colorful characters at the fair. During her adventures she makes new friends and helps other children in difficult situations.
The next morning, Anouk enthusiastically tells her parents about her nightly experiences, but they believe they were just dreams. Anouk is convinced that everything is true and even has proof of it. Her grandmother also seems to know more about this mysterious world...
