Fabulous Hannover

This tour through Hannover’s inner city takes in historical curiosities, the unusual and some of the city’s fabled history. The Borgentrickturm is a tower depicting the legend of brave citizen Borgentrick, the Aegidienkirche church with the “Seven-man Stone“, the stone history book at the New Town Hall (Neues Rathaus) and the „Luderziehen“ stone mask and relief (depicting two men and lots of trousers) at the Old Town Hall (Altes Rathaus), the unusual spire of the Marktkirche church and the fountain on Holzmarkt square with its wishing ring: just some of the stops on this tour through the Hannover of fable and legend.
