Since 2003, welcome Regine and Axel Bender and the team their guests at the
Hotel Walpurgishof. Family Bender took over the hotel in 2003 and made since then many necessary investments. They were able to managed the hotel Walpurgishof to one of the finest hotels in the Upper Harz.

Our 47 comfortable double rooms, 6 junior suites and 4 suites have been completely renovated in recent years in several sections and redesigned so that they welcome you in a loving atmosphere. The rooms are furnished in a modern country-style amenities, including box-spring beds, flat screens and newly renovated bathrooms with walk-in showers that give you a relaxing and memorable stay.

To complete your vacation culinary, we welcome you in our new restaurant "Benders".
Our chef and his crew will spoil you with a selected combination of flavours of the Mediterranean and German cuisine.
Our lightful wintergarden with the fantastic view across to the Nordic stave church, a sun terrace above the pedestrian zone cock clover and carefully chosen details exude a unique ambience.

At the end of 2014 we were opening our new wellness and spa area. Here we have created a unique wellness oasis of relaxation for you. At about 500 m2 offers a sauna area with relaxation room and treatment rooms for cosmetic treatments, baths massages and much more.
The lovely design of these spaces, making their stay with us an unforgettable experience and is the perfect break from the stresses of everyday life.

2,30 € city tax per person per night is excluded.

Children and extra beds    

All children are charged 10 € for children's cribs.

All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing beds.

All older children are charged 10 € per person and night for extra beds.

Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.

From the north or northwest
Leave the A7 Hanover-Kassel motorway at Junction Rhüden and continue via Goslar to Clausthal-Zellerfeld. On "Kreuzeckgruppe" the road branches off to Hahnenklee / Bockswiese right. Follow until you sign leads the main road right to the cock clover. After the sign of Clausthal keep right in the nordic stave church.
Our hotel is located opposite the church.

From the South
Leave the A7 Hanover-Kassel motorway at Seesen. From there, take over Lautenthal to Hahn clover. Follow this road until you see a sign on the left to Hahnenklee leads. After the sign of Clausthal keep right in the nordic stave church.

From the East
Leave the A2 Berlin-Hannover motorway at Helmstedt and take the B 82 to Goslar.
About the B 241, drive towards Clausthal-Zellerfeld. On "Kreuzeckgruppe" street nachHahnenklee / Zellerfeld turns right. Follow until you sign leads the main road right to the cock clover. After the sign of Clausthal keep right in the nordic stave church. Our hotel is located opposite the church.

By train
Drive from all directions to Goslar and then take the train station the next regional bus line 830 to Hahn clover. At the bus stop "at the cemetery" They get out and walk for about 300 meters straight ahead into the street Bock Wieser (after "Am Bock mountain"). Our hotel is located opposite the stave church.
