The tour continues through the picturesque Scheunenviertel with its lovingly restored buildings. Along the promenade you will also learn interesting facts about fishing on the Steinhuder Meer - including historical fishing methods and the importance of eel smoking for the region.

Another highlight is the view of Wilhelmstein Island, whose history as a former fortress and prison island is as fascinating as it is unique, as well as a visit to the inner courtyard of the Fishermen's and Weavers' Museum.
